One cannot stop thinking that the natural artistic soul that is nourished throughout the life with care is the common characteristic of Saydam family. According to what we have heard, Mrs. Gülgün is continuing to create without losing her pace and we are impatiently waiting for her new creations.
SAYDAM’S CREATIVITY PROVED ITSELF AS BEING WORLDWIDE FASHION PIONEER
Premier Vision _Paris , the most important fair in fashion fabrics worldwide, had its Spring – summer 2012 session last week between 8th and 10th. Saydam’s Collection once again proved itself being worldwide fashion pioneer in creativity and product know-how. The interest and allocations to our booth , located in Silky Seduction Area- Hall 5 F10, had increased tremandiously.
The core part of the visitors has been as usual from European countries. In addition to all these , we had visitors from important Japanese, Australian and Unites States fashion garment brands. We were proud that they all come on recomendation to see the Saydam Collection.
This season the fair has been very busy and productive for us. Most of the visitors arranged meeting time to see Saydam’s Collection which means alot to us. We are glad that they find the collection inspirational before their seasonal buying decisions.We got very positive feedbacks about color selections for each product groups. During the fair, we had very productive meetings with our existing customers. With their design team , we developed the product on the spot together.
Thanks to all Saydam representatives from each country, who had been very organized with their Saydam Visitors Schedule’s in their hands. We felt that they have been very much happy and convinced with this season’s collection.We are very satisfied with our proactive meetings with each agent. With a few additional changes , the collection will be customized for each countries market needs. With this opprtunity, we wellcome our new representative Sodac for France. Eventhough he is very new , he was very active during the fair. We also had several offers for representing our collection from important agents from interesting countries. We are considering them seriously.
We felt the significant increase in the market demand. European buyers espeacially seem to turn their buying focus more towards European producers. They mention that Chinese producers were more concentrated in their local market, so the lead times and prices has increased. The most important concern of the customer was the increase in material costs worldwide, which evantually effect their in store prices. They mainly mention their concern and need of being able to make this increase more gradual.
As a summary, PV – Paris fair has been very busy and productive meeting for us with our customers and agents from each country. We need to underlien here that the success belongs to our creative collection team, which created a great result with the energy that comes out from the harmonic team work of technical and marketing people.
He is weaving his fabrics with piano

Serdar Saydam makes his decisions while he is playing piano, he is not participating to any meeting without playing piano first, and he is designing fabric while he is playing his piano. He has a lot of compositions, and each year he goes to studio to record a CD. But he is a businessman… He is the owner of Saydam Textile that is accepted to Premiere Vision of France, which is the most important fabric fair of the world and whose only criteria is creativity…
His father stated that “Fabric is for happy days”. And he is manufacturing fabric to be happy and to share this happiness.

Princess Kate Middleton again didn't suprise us and choosed an elegant dress from Reiss which is produced from Saydam Textile's fabric during their appointment with Obamas.
This fabric is one of the most special and successful fabrics of Saydam which has not only an excellent touch ; but also has a wide usage capacity from tights to jackets because of its special weaving.

The managers of SAYDAM, who stated that Hatice Gökçe is one of the most powerful designers in the menswear sector, also said that this cooperation will continue in the future.

Wish tree
Saydam said "all wishes can become true" in the Premiere Vision february fair.
Although it is far from the general concept of its collection; Saydam tried its visitors to express their wishes by writing them on the wish tree and got very positive feedback.
We hope all the wishes become true....
Virtual Women Launching Party
Saydam 09-10 Winter Collection Virtual Woman Launching Party - Cube Hotel Paris 23 September 2008
Cube Hotel in Paris, which is a miracle of design with the touches of designer Philippe Strack, hosted the launching party of this year's Saydam collection. In Orange Room named hall reserved to Saydam, the guests watched the virtual woman themed video that the famous photographer and artist Bennu Gerede prepared especially for Saydam.
In the night which welcomed various Italian, French and famous Turkish fashion designers; the guests were invited to ICE CUBE bar. The guest, who wore special clothes, enjoyed cocktails specially prepared for Saydam in a -10 degrees environment. Arzu Kaprol, Mehtap Elaidi, Gamze Saraçoğlu were among these guests.

A surprise birthday party
A surprise birthday party for Ms. Seda Saydam who is the Assistant to the General Manager and Design Head of Saydam Textile at Premiere Vision February 2011 Fair.
Clients and agents didn't forget her 32nd birthday and celebrated with different surprises at the stand.

Hatice Gökçe’s collection is in Esquire
Famous men’s magazine Esquire carried the menswear collection that Hatice Gökçe shaped with Saydam fabrics to its fashion pages. December - January 2008/09
Hatice Gökçen, who is the only female fashion designer that designs the leading menswear collections of Turkey, generated excitement and attracted great attention with her menswear collection she designed using Saydam fabrics.
The last collection of the designer, who uses the fabrics of Saydam brand that wants to advance in menswear sector as well as womenswear sector, was carried to the fashion pages of Esquire magazine by fashion editors under the title of “LAST BARON”.

Wind of Saydam at 48'th International Antalya Altinportakal Film Festival
Saydam Textile was the sponsor of Erol Albayrak fashion show Discotheque 2012 Spring-Summer Couture Collection which has a theme of 1980's fashion in the 48'th International Altinportakal Film Festival.
Satins, crepes and silky fabrics are the main characters of the fashion show which was highly appriciated by the audiences.

Saydam Textile manufactured the silk which is the main material of the collection. How did you start this collaboration?
Our collaboration with Saydam continues since 2004. And since 2008, I am offering creative consultancy service to Saydam. We are making the decisions about all the details with Seda Saydam. Before presenting the 2010 fabrics Premiere Vision in Paris for the first time, I used them in my own collection. Saydam is the fabric company that establishes the most efficient relationship with designers.
Will world famous brands use these fabrics? Which brands?
I can share two very special names. One of them is Vanessa Bruno brand that broke new grounds in France and the other is Isabelle Marant brand that attracted great attention with its latest collections. It is a group that makes you smile, feel warm and enliven your adventurous soul during times that you allocated for yourself after your daily routine.
Saydam and Gamze Saraçoğlu Collaboration
Saydam is continuing its collaboration with fashion designer Gamze Saraçoğlu, who is appreciated more and more each passing day!
2009-2010 winter collection ‘Virtual Woman‘ for which Saydam worked with designer Gamze Saraçoğlu as an art director in its presentation named MODERN-IST that is created by the team composed of photographer Bennu Gerede, architect İsmail Öklügil, and sculpture artist Güler Güngör; attracted great attention in Paris.
And Saydam decided to work again with designer Gamze Saraçoğlu as an art director for the presentation of 2010 summer collection.

It was one of the traditional parties that Saydam organized in Paris to present its fabrics in 2009 winter collection. The last year’s party was held in ICE CUBES Hotel, and this year ALCAZAR which is one of the popular clubs of Paris was preferred.
Italian designers of Saydam, Turkish and foreign fashion designers who use Saydam fabrics, and new generation Saydam managers Seda and Serdar Saydam attended to the party.
